The workshop

Grain we know by hand

We work mainly in acacia, teak, oak, pine, bamboo and paulownia — chosen species by species for the job, then finished with food-safe oils and low-VOC coatings.

  • Responsibly sourced, kiln-dried timber graded before it is cut
  • Joinery that is screwed and glued, not stapled, to last
  • Offcuts reclaimed for smaller lines, little sent to waste
